Ceiling Fan Installation in Crownpoint: what's included

Fan-rated ceiling box and brace installation
Fan assembly, hanging and balancing
New wiring and wall switches
Separate fan and light controls
Outdoor-rated fans for patios and portals
Vaulted and high-ceiling installations

Ceiling fan installation where a light already exists

Replacing a light with a fan isn't a straight swap. A standard light box isn't built to hold a moving fan. We fit a fan-rated box or brace, check the wiring and hang the fan so it stays put for years.

New ceiling fan wiring in Crownpoint

No fixture there yet? We run new cable to the ceiling, add a wall switch or a fan and light control and install the fan. This also works in rooms with viga and latilla ceilings, on covered patios and on portals, using outdoor-rated fans.

Fan controls, remotes and repairs

We install wall speed controls, remotes and smart fan switches, and we fix fans that hum, wobble or have stopped responding.

When to call for ceiling fan work in Crownpoint

You want a fan where there's only a light
A fan wobbles, clicks or hums
The pull chain or remote has stopped working

Ceiling Fan Installation FAQ for Crownpoint

How much does ceiling fan installation cost in Crownpoint?

Replacing an existing fan costs the least. A new location with new wiring and a switch costs more. Ceiling height and access affect the price too.

Can a ceiling fan go where there's no attic access?

Yes. We use retrofit fan braces that install through the fixture opening and fish the cable to a switch.

Do ceiling fans help with a swamp cooler?

Yes. Moving air improves evaporative cooling and lets you run the cooler on low.

What size fan do I need?

Roughly 42 to 44 inches for small bedrooms, 52 inches for most living rooms and 60 inches or more for great rooms.

What customers say

Had three ceiling fans installed where there were only lights before. No wobble, quiet and they hauled away all the boxes.

We are on a well, so no power means no water. The standby generator they installed has kicked in on its own every time since. Worth every penny.
Robert S. Generator

Our adobe had wiring from who knows when. They rewired it in stages so we could stay in the house and were careful with the plaster. Everything is grounded now.
